Demandbase Review, Pricing & Alternatives (2026)

Account-based marketing suite with intent data, B2B ads and Mojo campaign agents

Last updated: October 26, 2026

What is Demandbase?

Demandbase sells Demandbase One, an account-based marketing and sales platform that combines company and contact data, intent signals, a B2B ad network and AI agents. It targets mid-market and enterprise B2B teams. Demandbase One is quote-only, with a Vendr median of about $68,600 a year; the separate Mojo agent starts free, with Plus at $200 a month.

Demandbase was founded in 2006 and is one of the original account-based marketing (ABM) vendors. It grew partly through acquisitions, including Engagio in 2020 and the InsideView data business in 2021, which gave it its own contact and company database. Demandbase says that database now covers more than 342 million contacts across 13 million companies. The flagship product is Demandbase One, sold as one platform for marketing, sales, advertising and data instead of separate modules. Its pitch in 2026 is agentic marketing: AI agents that plan and run campaigns, plus a headless setup that sends Demandbase data into the AI tools and CRMs teams already use.

Most customers start by defining an ideal customer profile and target account list. Demandbase identifies companies visiting their website, scores accounts on intent and engagement, and groups them into journey stages. Marketers then run display, video and social ads through Demandbase's own B2B demand-side platform, personalize website content by account, and hand engaged accounts to sales with alerts and account pages in Salesforce. Buying groups are a native object, so teams can see which roles at an account are active. Reporting ties ad impressions and site visits to pipeline. Demandbase does not split the product; a sales team that wants only intent data still buys Demandbase One.

The AI layer started with Agentbase in March 2025, a set of agents for campaign outcomes, account engagement, filtering and actions. In September 2026 Demandbase launched Mojo, a standalone B2B marketing agent that writes campaign briefs, builds audiences and runs campaigns in LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Marketo and Salesforce. At its GO conference in October 2026 it added an AEO Agent that tracks how AI assistants describe a brand to each buying-group member, plus Campaign and Audience agents. All draw on a shared "Marketing Brain". MCP connections let Salesforce Agentforce, including the new Hunter outbound agent, query Demandbase data.

Demandbase publishes no prices for Demandbase One. Its pricing page describes a platform fee covering software and services plus a flat fee per user. Vendr reports a median contract of about $68,600 a year across 187 purchases, and Demandbase's own AWS Marketplace listing shows a 12-month contract at $215,000. Third-party guides cite onboarding fees near $29,000 and extra seats at $1,200 to $3,000 a year. Contracts renew automatically for 12 months unless you give 30 days' notice, at then-current rates. Mojo is priced separately and publicly: a free tier with a few automations a day, Plus at $200 a month introductory pricing, and custom volume plans.

The main drawbacks are cost, all-or-nothing packaging and the work needed before account scoring pays off. Reviewers also mention a dense interface and a learning curve for new admins. 6sense is the closest competitor, with a slightly lower Vendr median of about $62,000 and a stronger reputation for predictive buying stages. ZoomInfo is stronger on raw contact data, and RollWorks targets smaller teams with simpler ABM advertising. HubSpot Marketing Hub covers lighter account-based campaigns inside a CRM many teams already own. Demandbase fits enterprise B2B marketers who want data, ads and agents from one vendor; teams under a $50,000 budget should look at RollWorks or Mojo alone.

Who is Demandbase best for?

  • Enterprise B2B marketers running account-targeted ads through one vendor.
  • Teams that want buying groups tracked as a native object.
  • Salesforce shops feeding intent data into Agentforce agents.
  • Brands tracking how AI assistants describe them with the AEO Agent.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Demandbase cost?

Demandbase One has no published price. Demandbase charges a platform fee plus a flat fee per user. Vendr reports a median contract of about $68,600 a year, and Demandbase's AWS Marketplace listing shows $215,000 for 12 months. Third-party guides cite onboarding near $29,000. The separate Mojo agent is free or $200 a month on Plus.

Is there a free version of Demandbase?

Demandbase One has no free plan or self-serve trial. Mojo, the standalone AI marketing agent launched in September 2026, has a free tier with all features and unlimited users but only a few automations a day. Demandbase also offers a free intent tool that shows the top 10 accounts researching chosen keywords over the past seven days.

Demandbase or 6sense, which should I choose?

Both offer intent data, account scoring, B2B advertising and sales intelligence on custom contracts. Demandbase sells one bundled platform with its own contact database and new AEO and campaign agents. 6sense is known for predictive buying stages and sells Sales Intelligence bundles separately. Vendr medians are about $68,600 for Demandbase and $62,000 for 6sense.

How does Demandbase use visitor and contact data?

Demandbase identifies companies visiting your site from IP and other signals, and its contact data comes from its own database, built partly from the InsideView acquisition. It publishes privacy and data processing terms and offers opt-out mechanisms for individuals. EU-based teams should check its GDPR documentation before activating contact-level data for ads or outreach.

What are Demandbase's contract terms?

Demandbase's Master Subscription Agreement on AWS Marketplace says subscriptions renew for successive 12-month periods unless either side gives notice at least 30 days before the term ends. Renewals are billed at then-current rates regardless of earlier discounts, and fees are non-refundable except under specific warranty and SLA clauses. Multi-year terms are available.
